MY PROJECT

Since my cats are my life, I wanted to do a web page about my life and my cats. Not only did I want my site to be entertaining, I also wanted to inform my readers about cats; relating to their health, facts, and different organizations that are designed to help animals. I thought it would be fun to introduce my children (my cats) and tell the story of how I acquired so many cats. I also wanted to tell of the struggles I had to overcome in having so many cats. In addition, I wanted to be able to help someone else who may be in the position I was financially and who isn't able to provide the proper medical care for their cats or other pets. I hope this page will be enlightening as well as entertaining to those cat lovers around the globe.

ABOUT ME

My name is Nicole and I am a student at Armstrong Atlantic State University. I am a senior and majoring in Criminal Justice. Many have said I should pursue a career in Veterinary Science due to my love for animals. As obvious as that may sound, being a Veterinarian is not something I would enjoy for the reasons of long schooling, attachment to the animals and the grueling process of having to watch the animals in pain or have to put them to sleep. It is very well that I leave that task to someone else. Nonetheless, I still try to learn as much as I can from My Veterinarian , who I might add is wonderful! For as long as I can remember I have had animals whether it was cats, dogs, turtles, or raccoons (which is a recent addition). I can't imagine life without animals, more less my cats. Some may think I am crazy for having so many cats but 12 isn't really a lot. I mean, cats are probably the most highly sophisticated, easy to manage, self-catering, domesticated species on this planet. All they need is a litter box, a bowl of food, and some occasionally T.L.C. Not only do cats basically take care of themselves, they are also great companions, just as a dog can be a man's best friend. But like I said before cats are much easier, considering they don't lick you in your face, jump up and down like a basketball, or cock their leg up to piss on your car tire.
